Felipe Aragón is a Spanish lawyer specialized in arbitration.

Experience in Arbitration

In 2013 Felipe Aragón joined Armesto & Asociados to work in a team with founding partner Juan Fernández-Armesto. Felipe participates in arbitration proceedings, including international, ad hoc and administrative arbitrations involving commercial and investment disputes.

Most of the international cases are administered by the ICC, and ICSID, whilst other arbitrations are conducted under the rules of the VIAC and the Madrid Court of Arbitration. As regards international commercial ad hoc arbitrations, most of them are subject to the UNCITRAL Rules.

Felipe holds a double degree in Law and Economics (2013), University Carlos III, Madrid, Spain. On his last year of Law school, Felipe participated in the Foreign Direct Investment Moot.

He also holds a post-graduate Advance Studies on Arbitration from Universidad CEU San Pablo (2014).

Other Activities

Felipe has coached the teams representing the University Carlos III’s team in the 2014 and 2015 editions of the Competencia de Arbitraje Internacional de Inversión and the 2016 edition of the Foreign Direct Investment Moot.

He was part of the Bench Brief Committee of the 2014 Foreign Direct Investment Moot. He also participates as arbitrator and memoranda judge in the Foreign Direct Investment Moot and Moot Madrid.
